Partners
Mike Bucher comes from a strong project management and construction background. He is responsible for managing SVN | Urban Properties’ development initiatives from entitlements to delivery. Prior to joining SVN | Urban, Mike served as VP of Development at Stirling Properties where he was responsible for leading new and ongoing development projects with a specialization in office and medical office product types. In addition, Mr. Bucher managed Stirling Properties’ New Orleans office at the Pan American Life Center, where he was responsible for new business development, specifically focused on the New Orleans market. Mr. Bucher holds a B.S. in Business Administration from Villanova University, and an M.B.A. from the University of Virginia’s Darden School of Business, with specializations in corporate finance and investment banking.
Mike Bucher
Tyler comes from an analytical background in real estate that includes appraisal, acquisition analysis, and development analysis. Prior to SVN | Urban, Tyler was the Development Analyst for Stirling Properties where he worked with the Development and Acquisition Teams in evaluating virtually all real estate asset classes. Tyler has provided underwriting support for over $50 million in investment sales over the past year. Tyler holds a B.A. from Yale University and an M.B.A. from Tulane University. Tyler is an active member of the Urban Land Institute. Tyler is originally from Lake Charles, LA. He enjoys experiencing the best of New Orleans – its cuisine and music.
Tyler Robinson
John joins SVN/Urban Properties as a Managing Director and Partner with over 20+ years in commercial real estate. He brings extensive experience in appraisal, brokerage, and advising on complex transactions. John holds degrees and certifications from Notre Dame and Tulane. He has previously served as a finance director/advisor to a local hospital and was the chairman of the Louisiana Planning Advisory Board.
Outside work, he enjoys traveling to Fairhope, AL, with his wife and two children.

Born and raised in New Orleans, Richard's passion for his home city is deeply rooted in his love for the historical architecture, its unique culture and its fabulous food.
He has a culinary background in both the kitchen and the business development and management of restaurants. While getting his degrees from the College of Charleston in Business Administration and Hospitality and Tourism Management, he took courses in Historical Preservation in hopes of bringing that back and someday utilizing that information in New Orleans. Richard's passion for real estate development grew naturally from his upbringing in the restaurant industry and he eagerly embraced the opportunity to combine his passion for both development opportunities and the food and beverage industry.
Richard Brennan
Miller Gunn delivers results in commercial real estate—brokerage, investment sales, and development advisory with SVN. His background spans Ernst & Young (healthcare & entertainment clients), SaaS roles in LA and Nashville, and founding a multi-location service business he later sold. In 2024 he co-founded Maumus Gunn Development, focusing on historic renovations and multifamily projects. This mix of corporate, entrepreneurial, and real estate experience lets him anticipate challenges and provide tailored solutions. A Birmingham native, Miller holds accounting degrees from Ole Miss and is a Goldman Sachs 10,000 Small Businesses graduate. He lives in New Orleans with his wife Lissa and their children Finch, Rowe, and Gavock.
Miller Gunn
Kate Whalen came to the SVN | Urban brokerage team from the Dallas Market.
As an agent with Urban, she brokers real estate transactions for clients and the firm. Kate serves tenants and landlords on SVN | Urban’s behalf. Whalen’s expertise also aids in developing presentations, proposals, and market studies for brands and concepts looking to expand into the New Orleans MSA.
Prior to SVN | Urban, Kate spent four years in Dallas, TX working in commercial real estate as a tenant representative at Whitebox Real Estate. Born and raised in New Orleans, Kate attended the University of Alabama and graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Communication studies and a minor in Public Relations, and was also a member of Kappa Kappa Gamma sorority.
In her spare time, Kate enjoys traveling, cooking, and spending time in Audubon Park.
Kate Whalen
Hayden joined the SVN | Urban Properties brokerage team in the summer of 2024. Before transitioning to real estate, Hayden built a successful career in sales and management within the food, beverage, and hospitality industry, notably with Strategic Hospitality in Nashville. This background has instilled in Hayden a deep appreciation for vibrant city culture, which she now brings to her real estate endeavors. Her passion for real estate is complemented by a strong commitment to client satisfaction, making her a dependable resource for those navigating the dynamic New Orleans market. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Integrated Marketing Communications with a minor in Business Administration from the University of Mississippi.
Hayden Davis
As an Advisor, Sam works diligently on all aspects of real estate transactions for the firm and his clients. He has in-depth experience across several asset classes including: land, retail, office and more. Sam analyzes his client's needs and desires, in conjunction with current market conditions and trends, in order to fulfill his role as Advisor. With a focus on investment sales, Sam knows what it takes to navigate the varied landscape of acquisitions and dispositions.Prior to Urban, Sam was an operations specialist with Levelset, a local tech startup in New Orleans. The New Orleans native attended Tulane University, receiving a BSM degree in Finance & Management with a Specialization in Entrepreneurship. He was also a member of the Tulane football team (Roll Wave!).

With seven years of experience in the property management industry, Tommy brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to the vibrant market of New Orleans. Originally hailing from New Iberia, Louisiana, Tommy has developed a deep understanding of the unique real estate landscape in the region.Tommy's passion for real estate is matched only by a love for the outdoors. Tommy Leblanc
Cullan brings extensive real estate development and investment experience to SVN | Urban Properties. At NORF Companies he served 11 years as Managing Director, leading acquisition and construction of 70+ projects (~700,000 sq ft, $160M) and launching/managing three Qualified Opportunity Zone Funds that deployed over $100M across the Southern U.S.
He teaches Real Estate Finance at Tulane University's A.B. Freeman School of Business (MBA, 2013), is a Fellow at Loyola University New Orleans’ Institute of Politics, and sits on the Metropolitan Crime Commission board.
Cullan holds a BS in Hospitality and Tourism Management from the University of Massachusetts, where he was a four-year baseball starter.
Cullan Mamus
Rhett is a seasoned commercial real estate broker with over a decade of experience across all facets of the industry, including office, industrial, and retail leasing and sales. He has successfully represented both landlords and tenants, working directly or in partnership with major companies such as Amazon, FedEx and Chevron. A proud graduate of Louisiana State University with a degree in Finance (Geaux Tigers!), Rhett brings a strategic, client-focused approach to every deal. Outside the office, he enjoys teeing off on the golf course and spending quality time with his wife and three kids.
Rhett Hymel
Gavin joined SVN | Urban Properties in the summer of 2023 as an Associate Advisor; he specializes in the Multifamily market.After gaining experience executing leases across a variety of asset classes, his primary focus is now Multifamily assets, including mixed-use developments and traditional Multifamily. Through his track record of working with buyers and sellers, Gavin works with each client’s specific needs in both acquisition and disposition of Multifamily assets. He is committed to leveraging his local network as well as the national network of SVN to provide every advantage to his clients in the marketplace. Prior to joining Urban, he was a Research Analyst for Levelset, a startup in the construction software industry.Gavin is originally from Austin, TX and holds a BA in Political Science/International Relations from Tulane University.

As Director of Asset Management, Luis leads strategic efforts to maximize the value and performance of Urban’s existing property portfolio and manages various development projects.A New Orleans native, Luis developed a strong appreciation for architecture, historic preservation, and design from an early age. His 20 + year career spans multiple areas of commercial real estate including finance, investment, development and brokerage. His passion for the built environment and deep industry expertise enable Luis to deliver exceptional outcomes for Urban’s stakeholders. Luis earned a BBA in Real Estate and an MBA from the University of Georgia.
Luis Banos
Ryan Bridges is our Head of Operations for Urban HUB Ryan also plans to obtain her real estate salesperson license by 2024, further adding to the brokerage team’s book of business.Prior to joining SVN | Urban, Ryan spent the past four years in hospitality operations for Sonder ranging from warehouse logistics to property management and operations management. Before that, Ryan spent more than five years in procurement for Boeing. Originally from Virginia, Ryan holds a Bachelors of the Arts in Sociology from the University of Virginia. In her spare time, she began her journey as a birth doula supporting parents through their pregnancy and birth journeys. She loves making memories with her family, usually trying new local restaurants and you can find her practicing to be a contestant on her favorite Food Network shows.
Ryan Bridges
As Office Manager / Bookkeeper for the SVN | Urban team, Alex manages all aspects of the firm’s daily office operations, including oversight of the financials and bookkeeping for the firm and client properties alike. Both areas are vital to the firm’s success and require an organized, numbers-minded professional, and Alex’s expertise optimizes this role.
Prior to joining SVN | Urban, Alex’s background has primarily been working in an executive support role with start-ups and small businesses in the construction and technology industries. Originally from Lake Charles, she is a graduate of McNeese State University. When not at the HUB, she plays in multiple kickball leagues and enjoys traveling.
Alex Fugatt
As a Bookkeeper for SVN | Urban, Travis supports the firm’s financial operations by managing day-to-day bookkeeping functions and ensuring accurate financial record-keeping for both the firm and its client properties. His attention to detail and proficiency with accounting tools make him a key part of the team’s back-office operations.
Before joining SVN | Urban, Travis gained valuable experience as a tax intern at a small accounting firm, where he developed a strong foundation in financial reporting and tax preparation. He is currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting at the University of New Orleans and holds a certification in QuickBooks.
Originally from Berwick, Louisiana, Travis enjoys hiking, traveling, and working out in his free time.
Travis Whitehead
Keith Gross joined SVN | Urban Properties as Property Manager. He oversees daily property management for 25+ properties (550,000+ SF) across six Louisiana parishes.
Keith moved to New Orleans from Orlando. He earned a B.S. in Accounting from the University of Central Florida in 2010 and worked as a financial analyst and costuming project specialist for The Walt Disney Company until 2019. In 2012 he paused his career to appear in the original Broadway cast of Bring It On: The Musical. Since 2020 he has focused on construction and property management in the New Orleans area.
Outside work he enjoys travel, outdoor activities, sports, and time with family and friends.
